BESPOKE WEDDING INVITATIONS

We believe your invitations should go beyond setting the tone for your wedding day. We believe in incorporating sweet little details into designs that embody your love story through exquisite paper and become an heirloom collection that not only excites your guests before the wedding but one you treasure for years to come.

Each of our custom designs feature hand-painted watercolor elements, modern calligraphy, with detailed attention to etiquette, mixing tradition with modern designs. No love story is the same, so each suite collection is truly made for you.

OUR SIGNATURE PROCESS

  • Before we begin, we’ll start with a consultation to get a feel for your overall vision over coffee or a call. I bring you paper, embellishments and calligraphy samples to look and feel! After filling out a wedding invitation questionnaire, I put together three design concepts to give you an idea of color, shapes, or illustration ideas throughout your suite and a mood board with different wedding elements (florals, photography, venue and day-of details) to get inspired.

  • Once a design concept is chosen, you’ll receive a detailed quote with paper and printing options, and I begin to paint and design! This is also when you’ll receive two documents from me: a wording guide for each piece of your suite, and a Google Sheet file, which will help you input and format all of your guest addresses for calligraphy.

  • After a digital mock-up (an image with your full suite put together) is approved, paper and envelopes are ordered and we move to printing! While some suites are fully printed and assembled in my studio, I work with a wonderful local printer who does amazing work putting your custom design into paper!

  • As your suite is printed, we’ll move to addressing your envelopes in calligraphy, assembly (putting everything together) and getting it ready to ship! This is my favorite part, so I’ll be sure to send you snippets of the details behind-the-scenes as we put everything together!

PRINTING METHODS

we offer

DIGITAL PRINTING

Also known as “flat” or color printing, this is the most popular and budget-friendly option for crisp and colorful designs, and the most versatile for smooth papers.

DIGITAL FOIL

This option is great for designs/wording you want to highlight in your favorite metallics: gold, silver or rose gold. The foil has a subtle “raise” to it and we love combining this option with digital printing!

LETTERPRESS & HOT FOIL STAMPING

Our favorite kind of printing. Your design is carefully made into metal plates, and during the printing process, used to create an impression on your paper - either with foil or with a custom-mixed ink. This option is great when using luxurious, thick cotton paper or paper with texture. Since this type of printing requires manual labor using an antique letterpress, it is typically the most costliest of the three.

PACKAGES + PRICING

The cost of custom stationery varies, but is mainly on dependent on paper and the printing method you choose. Over the years, I have established relationships with printers and paper sources so that I am able to offer options that fit any budget!

On average, our clients invest between $800-$1,200 for a 5-piece invitation suite. During your consultation, I pay careful attention to your timeline and budget to make the best recommendations for your needs!

Assembly and envelope calligraphy can also be added to your suite for the loveliest finishing touch.

FULL-SUITE DESIGN

Your invitation suite is custom designed, painted, lettered and prepared for your choice of printer. Digital files are sent in high quality format as requested via Dropbox. There is no limit to the amount of artwork or calligraphy you commission! After the sketching phase, three revisions are offered to ensure your designs are just right for printing.

Investment starts at $250 for watercolor, calligraphy + design

DIY COUPLE

Invitation Suite is custom designed, printed and prepared for you to assemble. Your order will come one fully-assembled suite and instructions for putting together all of your embellishments. This is great option for the DIY-bride, or for couples that would like a pre-marital bonding experience! A handful of extras are included.

Investment typically averages at $800-$1,200 for watercolor, calligraphy + design for a printed five-piece suite.

SIGNATURE EXPERIENCE

Invitation Suite is printed and assembled (all pieces put together), stuffed in your envelopes, sealed and prepared for mailing. Guest address reformatting is included in this option, in case you need help inputing addresses or would like for me to take care of the etiquette part. I take the utmost care possible in taking them to the post office (when requested) to ensure they are handled with care. If you opt to have your invitations shipped, everything comes assembled and ready for the post office! A keepsake for you and your photographer is included.
